3ª reunió del projecte MareLaw a Barcelona

The third meeting was held in Barcelona at the Faculty of Nautical Studies, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. MareLaw project is Erasmus+ project KA2 (Cooperation partnership in higher education) Upgrading and harmonization of Maritime law STCW based curriculum for Maritime students. During the 16th and 17th of April members from University of Split, Technical University of Catalunya and Riga Technical University have done an overview of the project activities and a review of all the teaching materials developed. A requirement on a brief introduction of national legislation was done to be included in the set of materials. During the second day, the group was working on the Development of guidelines for harmonization of maritime law courses and a list of suggested guidelines was discussed. At the end of the day a wrap up of the second day of Workshop was done and a plan was set for upcoming project activities, like for example the meting with EMSA and a final visit to EMSA headquarters to present the materials before finishing the project.
